MOVIE POSTERS
A series of movie posters for the films of Damien Chazelle.
This series of posters is centered around the motifs of music and rhythm that characterize his films. The movement and rhythm are exemplified with simple shapes and dynamic typography. The technique used to create the posters was paper cuttings.

Sketches
At first I tried to make three different series, with each composition resembling the other two. In compiling all the sketches, I realized that the technique was strong enough to connect all the posters together, and I could mix and match between the different compositions, thereby creating an interesting series.
